PAPER PRESENTATION Call for Abstracts Dear delegates, organizing team of KCIAPM2013 are happy to introduce E-posters in addition to oral and conventional printed posters, for the first time in this KCIAPM state conference as a logical step in view of technological advances and it also avoids the burden of printing and carrying poster. The Conference Committee invites you to participate actively in this conference which will be an extraordinary occasion for the exchange of thoughts and experiences. We look forward to receive abstracts online for consideration and inclusion in the scientific programme as oral or printed poster or E-poster presentation. The submitted abstracts should give a brief description of the title and topic. All abstracts will be peer reviewed by members of the committee. The reviewers will judge the abstracts according to the objectivity of statement, description of what was done, suitability of methods to aims, conclusions confirmed by objective results, ethics, scientific value, potential clinical value, originality of work and overall impression. All accepted abstracts will be listed online on this conference website. GENERAL GUIDELINES Registration for conference is compulsory for paper (oral/poster) presentation. Abstracts of only those delegates will be considered who have registered as KCIAPM member before 31st July, 2013. Click Here to know your KCIAPM membership number. If you are a non-member and wish to present oral papers/ posters, kindly apply for KCIAPM membership in advance and indicate membership number provided by the KCIAPM Treasurer's office in space provided for the 'KCIAPM membership number'. Last date for Abstract submission is 15th June 2013. Structured Abstracts (Introduction, aims/objectives, results/observations, and conclusion with maximum 250 words) should be submitted online and print of the proof (hard copy) should be mailed to Organising Chairman. First author should be the presenter. Organising Committee reserves the right to accept and assign oral or poster presentation. Case reports are accepted as posters only. Time limit: 7 minutes for presentation and 3 minutes for discussion. (Subject to change, will be finalised by August 10th 2013) GUIDELINES FOR POSTER PRESENTATION (PRINTED POSTERS) Available space for the poster: 4 feet (vertical) x 3 feet (horizontal) Click here for effective way of poster preparation. GUIDELINES FOR E-POSTER PRESENTATION LED/LCD TV panels will be displayed in assigned conference hall having USB port / connectivity. Each display can accommodate 15-20 posters in image formats loaded collectively in USB. These images will be played as slide show (45-60 seconds each) on loop for continuous display. E-Poster should be in image format (jpeg) only. Layout: Portrait. Canvas / image size 54x27 inch. Resolution: 150-200 dpi. All E-posters to be submitted online before 20th August 2013. Laptops will be provided connected to a large display for animated posters, where in, the presenter can make animation of images, graphs, with video clips etc in formats of .pps (max slides- 4). About 10-15 posters will be accommodated in each laptop/display with continuous slide show in loop. Presentation must be compatible with Microsoft office 2007 ie .pps format File format: MS power point, file type .pps. Maximum slide: 4 File size: less than 5MB All Animated E-posters to be submitted online before 20th August 2013.
